Terms & Conditions

1. Scope

These terms and conditions govern the agreement between Teodoro Morcone, sole proprietorship “Teodoro Morcone Nachhilfe” (the “Provider”), and clients booking mathematics tutoring services.

Different provisions apply only if confirmed in writing.

2. Services & lesson format

Lessons are generally delivered online. The exact medium or location is agreed upon during booking.

Lesson content, scope, and objectives are defined during the consultation or booking process.

3. Booking via Calendesk / contract formation

Appointments are scheduled through Calendesk. Once Calendesk confirms the booking, the contract is formed; Calendesk’s terms of use also apply.

Availability shown in the calendar may change. The Provider may decline a request or suggest alternatives.

4. Pricing & payment via Stripe

Current prices are published on the website.

Payments are processed cashlessly via Stripe (e.g., card payments). Stripe’s terms apply in addition.

Invoices or receipts are provided electronically.

5. Cancellation, rescheduling & no-shows

  • Sessions can be cancelled or rescheduled free of charge up to 24 hours before the start time.
  • Late cancellations, reschedules (< 24h), or no-shows are billed at 100% of the lesson price.
  • Should the client arrive late, the session still ends at the scheduled time; no additional time is owed.
  • If the Provider must cancel due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, prepaid fees are credited or an alternative appointment is offered.

6. Client responsibilities

Clients ensure punctuality and an appropriate learning environment (for online lessons: stable internet connection plus functioning camera/microphone).

For minor learners, booking and consent must be provided by a parent or legal guardian.

7. Lesson materials & copyright

Materials supplied by the Provider are protected by copyright and may be used only for personal learning.

Sharing or publishing the materials without permission is prohibited.

8. Liability

Tutoring provides learning support; no guarantee is given for specific grades or exam results.

Statutory liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence remains unaffected.

9. Withdrawal / refunds

There is no statutory right of withdrawal for tutoring services already delivered.

Refunds follow clause 5 or apply if the Provider cancels (see clause 5.4).

10. Governing law & jurisdiction

Swiss substantive law applies.

Jurisdiction is Zurich, Switzerland.

11. Changes to these terms

The Provider may amend these terms at any time.

The version published at the time of booking applies.
